“Whatever happens, comedians still have to be funny,” said Emmy winner comedian Chris Paul at a news conference to celebrate the new offices of Ski Johnson Enterprises on Pennsylvania Avenue, a stones throw from the White House. 

“We’ve never, never allowed show business to be a source of sadness,” he added when Hollywood on the Potomac asked him to comment on the death of Robin Williams and the oft consensus that comedians have a dark side to cover their pain.

Comedians Huggy LowDown and Chris Paul:

The reception was a celebration of both jazz superstar Johnson’s new marketing firm and the release of actor/comedian Huggy LowDown and Chris Paul’s new DVD.  The merger with the comedy duo from The Tom Joyner syndicated radio show and TV One’s Love that Girl came just prior to Friday, August 15th’s CBS Network show at The 6th Annual DC Bachata, Kizomba & Latin Dance Festival at the Washington Hilton and ending with the 1st DC Bachata Let’s Get Physical Benefit on Sunday August 17th.
