It’s that tasty time of year again. Food and fun are set to headline the annual Metro Cooking show, featuring the likes of world class chefs like Bobby Flay and Guy Fieri. The culinary extravaganza on November 8-9 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center will delight all the senses with 300 specialty food exhibitors, local mixologists and a cornucopia of local and regional James Beard honored chefs.
This year’s show will also feature more than 40 restaurants offering gourmet tastes in the Grand Tasting Pavilion, brought to you by the Restaurant Association of Metro Washington.
To get in the spirit for the delicious upcoming weekend, Metro Cooking hosted a media and foodies at local DC hotspot Toro Toro by Chef Richard Sandoval for an evening of sips, tastes and fellowship to build anticipation.
The recent acquisition of a majority stake in the show by E.J. Krause and Associates is sure to keep Metro Cooking as one of the most anticipated and must-attend weekends in the District for anyone with a discerning palate.
Metro Cooking regularly draws more than 20,000 guests to their exhibition, shows and workshops and Krause will continue to fuel growth of the brand as it exists and into new cities in the future.
Don’t miss this year’s show—it will not disappoint. For more info, check out MetroCookingDC.
