Hey all you Presidential candidates looking to take over the Oval office, you may want to get your “Rosetta Stone” thing on. Maria Teresa Kumar & David Sutphen hosted OUR VOICES: Celebrating Diversity in Media reception benefiting VOTO LATINO with honorary host Gina Rodriguez at The Hay Adams Hotel across from the White House for #WHCA pre-party on Friday night.

With roughly 54 million Hispanics living in the United States, representing approximately 17% of the U.S. total population, people of Hispanic origin are the nation’s largest ethnic or race minority.

Presidential contenders may also want to up the language ante by adding the Berlitz total immersion language program to their to-do list. Hundreds of guests made up such an electric group, it would leave The Energizer Bunny in the dust. “Eventually, we are going to have the first Latino President come out of Voto Latino,” CEO Maria Teresa Kumar told Hollywood on the Potomac

Was it a coincidence that the event was within eye shot of the White House?  It was definitely within ear shot for those secret service folks who presumably were listening in; so now they know – there will be a Latino in the White House sooner rather than later.  If you have any doubt, check out the video below that Hollywood on the Potomac did at their 10th Anniversary party.
