You know longer have to wait for that invite from the 41st President whose resides in Kennebunkport, Maine, also known as “The Summer White House” of George Herbert Walker Bush, to enjoy Maine lobsters – nor to you have to travel up the Atlantic coastline, although no denying that would be nice.

Luke’s Lobsters brings them to you.

They opened their first DC location on May 26, 2011 — it’s first location outside Manhattan! 

And they serve the same Maine-style menu — lobster, crab and shrimp rolls, and bisque and chowder — in a Down East-inspired shack.

Washington attorney and Georgetowner David Harrison was first on the scene of it’s latest incarnation: Georgetown.

“It doesn’t take a master chef to make a great lobster roll; it takes great lobster,” says Luke Holden who knows where to get the best stuff around . . .
