The house was ROCKING on Friday afternoon when Rob Thomas and Kyle Cook from Matchbox Twenty stopped by The Hamilton for a special acoustic performance to promote their new album, North.
The album is the first full length release for the band since 2002, so they are back to prove they’ve still got what it takes–and it didn’t take much, because North is already on fire at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Hosted by Tommy, Kelly and Darik from 94.7 Fresh FM, the rockers showed off tunes from the new album as well as old favorites that rocketed the band up the charts in the 90’s.
The guys joked with the crowd, jammed out on their guitars and celebrated their last stop in the US before a planned trip to London.
