While guests were dining on Paella at the Embassy of Spain, guests at the Election Day celebration at famed Carmine’s in Penn Quarter were embracing super sized meatballs and spaghetti hosted by 94.7 FRESH FM’s Tommy McFly.
The mood was relaxed with a small close knit group of friends who enjoyed sharing the night regardless of party affiliation or the results.
Guests played trivia surrounded by an election themed decor while intermittently checking out the big screen for the electoral vote.
Conversations wrapped around the most pressing national issues facing the country.
“I think jobs are really important – equality – question 7 in Maryland – and I think there is a lot at stake in this election,” said McFly.
It’s over. Congratulations to President Obama and to Governor Romney.
In the end, it’s not whether you win or lose, but how you concede the game……well done Mr. Romney
