Ladies (and Gentlemen): You love a bargain, right? Who doesn’t?
On Saturday, March 23rd, with sessions at at 9 a.m. and every two hours from there, the bargainistas at Gilt City are having their annual warehouse sale. Yes—the ‘s’ word. Say it loud and say it proud! At last—something worthwhile to wake up early for on a Saturday morning.
Let talk about what we’ll have access to shall we? Dresses and jackets and sweaters (oh my!); skirts, denim, suits, coats, tees and tanks, accessories and more. Designer labels like Helmut Lang, Zac Posen and Carolina Herrera, to name a few….at up to 90% off retail. Buy…buy, love!
Oh…but that’s not all! There will be an onsite bar with Whitehaven Wine, Amsterdam Vodka with Coco Coconut Water (see? It’s HEALTHY!) and refreshments from AQUAhydrate and Coco Café with snack station provided by Pretzel Crisps. There will be live entertainment provided by a DJ and a photo kiosk. Fun…fun…fun.

“No matter what session you come to, be sure to get there early. This ensures a full shopping experience, and it’s easier to view and handle the merchandise when it’s most organized. “
Have an open mind
“The most exciting part of the Warehouse Sale is the element of surprise! While you may have certain items in mind that you’re really focused on purchasing (perhaps a new stiletto Spring, a must-have handbag, or a cocktail dress), but when I have taken my time, looked through the racks and filtered through the shoes and accessories with an open mind, this is when the magic happens and I’ve come home with some of my favorite pieces (a Marni wallet, some beautiful printed bath towels that go perfectly in my guest bath, an over-the-knee boot at a NOT over-the-top price)!”
Reduce your drag
“Come prepared to shop – we require coat check and large bag check, so bring a small purse or wallet you can keep your credit cards and ID in. A small wallet or cross-body bag will leave your hands free to peruse the racks, or sip a cocktail! If you dress in light layers, it will also allow you to try clothes on easily, and maybe not even need to wait for a fitting room!”
Stock up on glam gifts
“One of the best things to do while shopping the Warehouse Sale is to pick up gifts for special occasions. I bought a beautiful ashtray for a cigar enthusiast, baby items for friends who just brought home a newborn, some bracelets for a friend’s birthday, a vase and ceramic bowl for a housewarming party. I purchased luxurious items for others, and saved enough to get things for my own closet!”
