Jennifer Hudson performed and accepted The Recording Academy’s Recording Artists’ Coalition Award at the GRAMMYs on the Hill, Washington’s most interesting mix of music and politics. Dr. Billington received the GRAMMYs on the Hill Award on behalf of the Library of Congress’s National Recording Registry, and a tribute performance by DioGuardi, Hunte and Shaw, connected classic songs to their own hits.
