Crowd Control 101 can’t be found in book stores that we know of yet, but it’s not a bad idea – just ask Tammy Haddad who announced that the President was in the room at the Annual Garden White House Correspondents’ Garden Brunch at the Georgetown manse of Mark Ein hosted by Tammy Haddad & Ted Greenberg, Kevin Sheekey, Hilary Rosen, Steve & Jean Case, Mark Ein, Alex Castellanos, Anita Dunn, Bill Knapp, Steve McMahon and Franco Nuschese. This year’s event highlighted the Miss America Foundation and CURE.
The boisterous and well nourished guests (that would be well nourished Bloody Mary guests) fell silent with the announcement. Considering it was the White House Correspondents’ Weekend and guests included Sharon Stone and Kevin Spacey, it wasn’t as far fetched as you might think. Alas, it was not to be. The fake POTUS was Tony Goldwyn of ABC’s Scandal.

“We have some very special causes and very special guests,” said Haddad in her opening remarks about the man who stripped off his mustache on behalf of an Epilesy challenge. “All of you know David Axelrod as the man who elected the President twice; but here at the Garden Brunch he is Susan Axelrod’s husband and Lauren’s father.”

“I promise you we won’t bother you about Epilesy again when we find a cure,” said Axelrod whose daughter has the disease. Today you are going to meet someone who is another phase of this dreadful disorder, Captain Pat Moran who was injured in Iraq – had a head injury, a head trauma and developed Epilepsy as a result. This is a very common thing and we as a country are going to have to deal with it,” he explained. “What you learn very quickly is that disease is non partisan and here to join us is house majority leader Eric Cantor.”

“If we can just educate one person about the impact of this disease, we will consider today a success,” said Cantor.
