The fact that it was Friday the 13th wasn’t lost on the “Suspicious Package” team: Christina Sevilla, Tim Burger, Tom Toles, Bryan Greene and Josh Meyer. In fact, au contraire. “We were thrilled to participate in the Beatles 50th Anniversary DC tribute video for the DC Preservation League and rock in the holidays at the Bayou with friends,” said Sevilla, Suspicious Package keyboard and singer.

The Beatles tribute, 50 years later, will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in conjunction with the DC Preservation League and Douglas Development Corporation and will commemorate this iconic event at the Washington Coliseum. Proceeds from the event benefit the advocacy and education programs of the DC Preservation League to preserve and protect the historic resources of our nation’s capital.

Lest we forget, “two days after their triumphant appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964, The Beatles boarded a train and headed to Washington, DC’s Union Station. They arrived at approximately 3:04 p.m. to a throng of photographers and screaming fans on the platform, and 8 inches of snow outside.
Prior to the concert, the Fab Four participated in a light-hearted press interview in the Washington Coliseum. When asked what they thought of then-President Lyndon Johnson, Ringo Starr quipped: ‘We don’t know. We’ve never met the man… Does he buy our records?'” The Washington Post
