Move over Uber, the trip from DC to New York City just got upgraded – Royal Sprinter has arrived.

The customized Mercedes Sprinter is the perfect alternative to the bus, train and plane (not to mention driving, or waking for that matter) for convenience, price and comfort. With seating for 8 — make that leather seating for 8 – with leg extensions that recline as well as dual routers for uninterrupted WiFi, DirectTV, and Dean & Deluca packaged snacks, this vehicle makes 2 trips to NYC daily, picking up at the Park Hyatt Washington DC and Embassy Suites at Chevy Chase Pavilion and drops off at The Loews Regency in mid-town Manhattan.

So much more convenient pick up and drop off parts of both cities. Curious guests who met owner Andy Seligman ( a native New Yorker) and sat inside the new Royal Sprinter  included: Georgetowners Sheila and Ed Weidenfeld, portrait photographer Philip Bermingham, lobbyist Bonnie Singer, Rob Tappan of Koch Industries, lawyer Andrew Kline and 94.7 FreshFM’s Kelly Collis.  You may recognize Seligman.  He owns several DC restaurants: Brickside, Grand Central and Jumbo Slice Pizza. “I want this to be luxurious,” he said.

Hani Masri was leaving the hotel just as the Royal Sprinter pulled up so he got a personal tour from Andy Seligman. Guets enjoyed mini crab cakes, lamb chops and coconut shrimp with their wine and cocktails inside the Park Hyatt before and after they checked out the luxury vehicle. Royal Sprinter’s inaugural sprint to NYC is Friday, April 11.  So get on board!
