“I thought you came here to die” says the latest mysterious Bond villain. “It’s all a matter of perspective” teases James….There are many twists and turns in the new James Bond epic, SPECTRE, and we could tell you about them, but we’d have to kill you. In all seriousness, there are a number of big reveals and we don’t want to spoil the ending, but this newest installment of the spy drama created by Ian Fleming will leave everyone deeply enamored with Bond and asking when will we see another.
The film, which opens today nationwide is the 24th Bond film in the franchise, and the 4th for Daniel Craig as 007. It is widely publicized that this is likely his last installment donning a tux and having a martini (shaken, not stirred) as Bond.
Hollywood on the Potomac got a sneak peak of the film at a private screening this week sponsored by Belvedere, the office Vodka of choice for James in SPECTRE. Guests were treated to martinis before the show and chic soiree following the movie at Sax Lounge, the perfect setting for a Bond-esque affair.

SPECTRE was directed by Sam Mendes and brings in some familiar faces, Naomie Harris (Moneypenny) and Ben Whishaw (Q) as well as some new like Ralph Fiennes stepping into the role of M. SPECTRE is not short on action at any point as Bond tries to decode the secret organization that has been terrorizing his world. Car chases, airplane chases, helicopter chases; it’s safe to say that James likes to flex the limits of his insurance policy and we’re glad that he does. It makes for better cinema.
