Hanging out with Ski Johnson is like having a ‘happy pill.’ Such was the case at the 3rd annual WINNter Affair to benefit The Children’s Inn at NIH held at The Powerhouse in Georgetown where the award winning jazz saxophonist was the star attraction. “It’s an honor to be here for such a great cause,” he said. “Having a little wine, having a good time, great people, it doesn’t get any better and I give a lot of time to the cause.”

The cause, of course, was The Children’s Inn – a residential “place like home” for sick children and their families while the children are receiving ground braking medical treatments at NIH. NIH takes care of the child’s medical needs, The Inn tends to the child’s heart, soul and spirit.

The Inn’s Young Ambassador’s Council produced the fundraiser: an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, raffle prizes and dancing featuring DJ Neekola and was a fun, festive opportunity for young professionals to support The Inn’s important mission and programs.
