Going out on a limb: We are not critics or reviewers, but love the craft of the industry. With that in mind, here are our choices for the Oscars 2014.
Best Picture: 12 Years a Slave
Best Actor in a Leading Role: Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club)
Best Actress in a Leading Role: Amy Adams (American Hustle)
Best Actor in a Supporting Role: Bradley Cooper (American Hustle)
Best Actress in a Supporting Role: Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave)
Other: I think Best Actress in a Supporting Role should be shared with Jennifer Lawrence (American Hustle) who was amazing. Hard to get her scenes out of your head…….very memorable, but since can only choose one, we went with Lupita.
If we get just two of the above right, we’ll be happy campers!
