The show may have been elsewhere, but Washington, D.C. came up big winners at the 2014 Ford Neighborhood Awards honoring businesses and community leaders, educators and more from across the nation hosted by award-winning television/radio host and best-selling author Steve Harvey.

“We designed this show for people in the community who don’t get recognition every day, to celebrate their work with a big round of applause. You will never laugh at an awards show like you’re going to laugh at this one; it’s about time we brought this show to Atlanta!”  And so they did.
