Three amazing artists shared their artworks at the Conrad Miami Hotel on Brickell Wednesday evening.
The event took place on the rooftop of the hotel and presented artwork from Mike Rivamonte, Sheila Elias, and Robert Swedroe. Each of these artists has an amazing story to tell, and it is definitely seen through their art.
Mike Rivamonte creates his work from rare and unusual objects collected from all over the globe. He assembles them hiding screws, bolts and armature in the completed work to make it seem like they are perfectly together.
Sheila Elias is an all-around artist. She is a painter, printmaker, sculptor, photographer, and creates mixed media. Every one of her artworks is pint-size with physical presence.
Robert Swedroe was first an architect in Miami Beach, but over his 33 years of working with his artistic mind he began creating collages. His collages have won awards throughout the country and his artwork is also presented in Miami during Art Basel.
Conrad’s hotel manager, Stephane Mercier, said that there were many reasons that this event took place at the Conrad. “We want to make this hotel a part of the Brickell community as much as possible. Our community has a love for art and expression. Therefore, the Conrad does too.”
