The Presidential oath had been taken, the confetti had settled across the parade route, and the music was fading at the Inaugural balls, now it was really time to party. Electronic Arts and i am OTHER teamed up for a special late night bash at on the roof of the W Hotel Washington to make sure the Inauguration festivities rocked until the sun came up.
The party was themed Learn. Build. Create. –“Bridging the worlds of government, philanthropy and entertainment through STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education in the U.S.” –and the creative energy of this party was palpable.
John Legend was there, partying with Rosario Dawson, MC Hammer, Pharrell Williams, Malin Akerman and more. Akerman didn’t seem to mind the late-night start time, despite being VERY pregnant. The stars mingled and were tweeting and posting photos late into the night…the party glided easily into the 4am hour with guests like Will.i.am on hand until the last songs of the party.
Some of the VIPs had one more stop however. It’s rumored that several made it next door to the exclusive party being thrown next door at the White House where a truly Presidential celebration was at hand. Sure it was late, but how many times do you get elected President? Well, twice I guess.
