“When I was here last year as the hooker on West Wing, I was literally approached like that. ‘You’re the hooker.’ Okay, Okay,” Lisa Edelstein told Hollywood on the Potomac at the 2016 Annual Garden Brunch hosted by Tammy Haddad, Kevin Sheekey, Hilary Rosen, Sachiko Kuno, Fred Humphries, Mark & Sally Ein, Constance Milstein, Anita Dunn, Bill Knapp, David Adler and Franco Nuschese at the legendary Beall-Washington House once owned by Washington Post Publisher Katherine Graham and now owned by Sally & Mark Ein of Washington Kastles. The brunch is the feel good morning after hectic activities for several previous nights leading up to The White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Jeff Goldblum was feeling good with wife Emilie Livingston

Goldblum of Jurassic Park  fame had every reason to be feeling good  He welcomed his first child with his wife Olympic gymnast Emilie Livingston in 2015.

Wendy Diamond and her dog were feeling good until she realized no dogs allowed.  Luckily she got a pass.  We hear that pet pioneer Diamond will receive The Ellis Island Medal of Honor Award!  President George H.W. Bush has one, both Bill and Hillary Clinton have one, Donald Trump wears one, and now she’ll get one for her work with Animal Fair Media and Women’s Entrepreneurship Day.  When you’re trying to get pass the rope lines, every little bit helps.

We’re not sure why Sean Spicer was feeling so good.  He is, after all, the Communications Director for the Republican National Committee that has no idea yet what to do with their presumptive nominee; but knowing Sean, he’ll work it out.  Nevertheless, we pointed him in the direction of the lawn where the Bloody Marys were being served up.

The Garden Brunch isn’t all about feeling good though, the day also celebrates causes that make others feel good.

“This city has a proud history of diverse creators, thinkers and entrepreneurs coming together to tackle our most pressing social challenges. Through the Halcyon Incubator, Dr. Sachiko Kuno has given that legacy a modern upgrade.” – Sheila Johnson, Co-Founder of BET
