The Halloween event produced by Andre Wells at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium was flanked with food stations from Design Cuisine, satellite bars, lounge seating and a dance floor that stayed packed all night.
Ringleader Wells came as James Brown and made quite the entrance on stage singing “Get On Up” with the band and gliding around the audience with a mic and stand. And the by the way, his moves were down pat which really got the crowd excited – all smart phones were in the air.

We’re thinking he stole a page out of the Get on Up biopic playbook recently held at the Newseum – as in WHOA, I feel Good.

The invite only crowd of 400+ gears up every year for the costume contest for great prizes. This year winners included Karl Lagerfeld, Grace Jones, The Cast of Clueless and more.
Each year Andre surprises the crowd with something special. One year there was a marching band, another the Wizard Cheerleaders. This year it was an intense DJ battle between popular DJs Bobby Drake (Winner), Tye, Q, and DJ Neekola.
We’re not sure what the intentions of “Sissorhands” was, but everyone went home unscathed.
