The Huxley celebrated its one year anniversary party with over 300 guests. The venue, designed from the ground up using the latest innovations from Las Vegas and New York City, has been a premiere luxury destination since it opened.
An expert management team along with seasoned investors has built a completely new high-end hospitality facility. The 4,600 square foot space boasts two luxurious rooms: The Ballroom and The Library. Each room has its own personality and style, allowing customers to create their own one-of-a-kind experience.
Co-owners Ryan Seelbach and Eric Lund were joined by Washington TV personalities NBC 4’s Doug Kammerer and Jason Pugh as well as ABC 7’s Scott Thuman and Britt McHenry.

Two live DJs spun a mix of tunes and guests made a toast to the nightlife destination’s successful first year in business. In just twelve months, The Huxley has attracted both international and local celebrities from Lebron James and Cain Velasquez to Lil Jon and Gio Gonzales.

Just last month, Seelbach and Lund became the first area nightclub to debut a craft cocktail menu – The Huxley Collection – available anytime at the bar. The menu invokes historical and contemporary influences, from the gin Rickey – which originated in the District, to the bourbon Seelbach, a nod to the famed Seelbach Hotel in Louisville, Ken. – founded by The Huxley Owner Ryan’s ancestors.
