Cast and crew of the acclaimed “Killers of the Flower Moon” gathered at the Smithsonian’s Museum of the American Indian in late January to screen the film and explore the groundbreaking Native American story.

Director Martin Scorcese was on hand along with the film’s star Lily Gladstone and numerous members of the Osage Nation, the tribe that appears within the film. Costumes from the film were displayed within the museum to help celebrate the culture tapestry that serves as a backdrop of the film and the cast members appeared with dignitaries, including Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland who is the first Native American member of the Cabinet.

Haaland and Gladstone have each helped break ground in their industries. Gladstone is the first Native American actress nominated for an Oscar and she could be poised to take home the trophy after winning at the Golden Globes in January.
