“I want to give you a warm welcome and I promise to be brief,” said Franco Nuschese, proprietor of famed Cafe Milano in Georgetown, “because we’re very excited about this dinner tonight.” Hey, so were we. A decadent Italian feast without the carbs? Translation: La Dolce Vita.
“It is a great honor for me to welcome everyone to celebrate our guest of honor, my friend Gianluca Mech. Mr. Mech is one of the brightest and most talented young Italian entreprenuers. His company is one of the strongest in the food industry and continues to grow thanks to his visionary as a CEO. He’s the inventor of a cooking style which the European mass media has defined as the Italian-well cuisine diet which is why we currently include some Tisanoreica dishes on our regular menu. I guarantee you that the pasta is amazing!”

“I also want to share with you a letter I received from the Italian Minister of Health,” added Nuschese: ‘Dear Dr. Mech, I am writing to thank you for the kind invitation for your event dedicated to Italian high quality diet cuisine at Cafe Milano. Unfortunately the institution’s duties prevents me from being there’.” Minister Beatrice Lorenzin went on to point out the challenges of a healthy diet, yet great food, while also investing in scientific research.

“In Italy, the Tisanoreica is considered the diet of the Italian celebrities, but also the diet of the politicians …… the Parliament, the Prime Minister (former Berlusconi) and lots of other politicians because they can eat well and maintain their shape.
Guests were surprised to receive a take away……the Mech-Bag, filled with low carb food and condiments. Done – we’re scratching that off our bucket list and eating as much bread, pasta, pizza as we want and drinking Bloody Marys and Margaritas without the hangover!
Hollywood on the Potomac sat down with Gianluca Mech where he tells all, says buon appetito and comes back to let us know why we will never be in “Hangover II” with his special cocktails:
