“We had a busy weekend. ……..

Opening Ceremonies on Friday nite, Saturday nite a Rhodes scholar party celebrating the 37 Rhodes Scholar-Olympians and a black tie soiree with Fergie, Princess Beatrice and Prince Andrew and a very dashing crowd.

Sunday AM was a brunch at the American Embassy with the First Lady and fellow Olympians……….plus some sport watching in between.

Beautiful weather and a fun start to the Games.”

Basketball

Represented the United States at the 1972 Munich Olympics, winning a silver medal (which was refused by the American team following a protest after a controversial ending to the match in which the Soviet Union’s team was allowed extra time).
