Bob Madigan lit up at his farewell party at Carmines – and you can take that literally. The long time “Man About Town” WTOP reporter donned a flashing bow tie that has been his signature for twenty years – well, maybe not the flashing part. Guests also received bow ties. “I have fifty years in radio and 20 of those were at WTOP,” said Madigan. “so I think that I have earned myself an opportunity to do the three R’s: Rest, Read and Recreate depending on how you phrase it. I have no other plans than to do anything other than that.”
