Marvel Universe LIVE!, the new live entertainment experience from Feld Entertainment, opened at the Verizon Center on Sept. 4 to a crowd full of comic fans! Children and adults enjoyed watching the action as their favorite Marvel Super Heroes including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, Wolverine, Captain America and Thor work together to battle some of the most notorious villains, including Loki and Green Goblin.
Performers and VIP guests mingled in the Verizon Center’s Acela Club prior to the opening night performance, including CNN’s Dana Bash and NBC Washington’s Angie Goff. Two performers, Moe Alafrangy and Kirk Jenkins, were excited for to get out there for the first performance in the D.C. area and to get to showcase their talents in front of a hometown crowd.

“There are so many cool things about this show,” said Jenkins, originally from Bealeton, Virginia. “I am excited to get out there, in a stadium that I grew up coming to, and show the audience all that we can do.”
