Funny or Die’s late night party invite during the White House Correspondents’ weekend that read like this: “No Sponsor, No Cameras, No Press, No Hassle Party co-hosted by Impact Arts + Film Fund” at HOGO, an eclectic spot on 7th Street, was exactly the party you wanted to write about. So, without further ado, we’re going to.
We’re thinking this must be Hogo
Celebs and guests partied until the wee hours and enjoyed high end specialty cocktails and super-premium tasting table that featured rare spirits from around the globe provided by the Distilled Spirits Council of the US. “Cocktails and Hollywood have gone hand in hand since before James Bond ordered his first Martini. Events this weekend gave us a terrific opportunity to showcase our members’ fine products and our role within the hospitality industry.” said Ben Jenkins, Vice President, DISCUS
Chef RJ Cooper provided a variety of unique late night munchies including red neck cheese steak sandwiches, homemade pork rinds, and living crudité with hemp seed butter. We didn’t ask what “living crudite” was, but hemp seed butter sounded just fine.
We’re not usually into lists, but on this occasion of “no press” means we have no interviews, no videos, no photos – so here’s the list:

Butler was in town for the Washington premiere of Olympus has Fallen in March shown here surrounded with fans at the Georgtown screening.
“The party accomplished what we set out to do: create a fun and easy party that brought together friends in town for the dinner along with the friends we’ve worked with in DC throughout the years. Kimball Stroud is an amazing partner and we look forward to many more parties no one can take pictures at,” said Mike Farah, President of Production, Funny or Die.
Funny Or Die, as explained on their website, “is a comedy video website that combines user-generated content with original, exclusive content. The site is a place where celebrities, established and up-and-coming comedians and regular users can all put up stuff they think is funny.
At the same time, the site hopes to eliminate all the junk that people have to pick through to find videos. That means around here you get to vote on what videos are funny and what videos deserve to die. Funny Or Die was created by the guys at Gary Sanchez Productions (Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy) and a bunch of Silicon Valley dudes and ladies.”
