What rhymes with culture, taste, design and a wine tasting?

In Washington DC, a magical night filled with a welcoming staff, dream food and a connoisseur that sweetens you every time he mentions his passion for fine wine and the word Taberna de Alabardero; a serious, authentic, Spanish restaurant in the heart of DC.

The interior is a piece of art imported from Spain: The red color walls and the well decorated tables plus a Spanish speaking staff and clients make you feel you have stepped into Madrid.

On September 17, this Spanish restaurant put together the best from Spain for a magnificent night where the culinary excellence at the hands of executive chef Javier Romero met the giant of the Spanish wine: Frutos Villar, by the head of foreign trade Jose Luis Villar who explained each of the wines served and answered the questions that arose around the table.

As if that were not enough, the night ended by surprising the diners with a great wine selection accompanied by a three-course dinner. The combination of food with wine was what caught the attention in this wine tasting, each of the courses served highlighted the excellence and unique flavor of the wines tasted; it was like they were made for each other.
