Themed around #UnordinaryWomen, the event honored its four hosts as #UnordinaryWomen in their own right. Opening remarks by Deirdre Quinn introduced the campaign celebrating fearless, trailblazing women who inspire and each host shared about the women who’ve inspired them.

Guests shopped the Spring and Summer 2019 Collections, inspired by Creative Director Emily Smith’s travels to Venice, Italy, in support of She’s the First. Tida Jarjou spoke on behalf of the organization, “We’re thrilled to be part of this evening, as well as the extraordinary partnership we’ve formed with Lafayette 148 through the #UnordinaryWomen campaign. As a company led by women for women with a commitment to educational causes, their values so authentically align with our mission. The money we raise and the awareness we spread will help support many young girls to receive the education they deserve.”  The event was also attended by several top fashion influencers including; Sara Azani of Style MBA, Natalie Pinto of The Fashionably Broke, Saumya Shiohare of Myriad Musings, Madison Messer of Sweet Tea with Madi and Elisabeth Pendergrass of District of Chic.

148’s #UnordinaryWomen campaign honors inspiring, trailblazing women and echoes its charitable cause by donating ten percent of sales from the event to She’s the First, a non-profit which helps support girls’ education around the world.  She’s the First fights gender inequality through education by providing girls who will be first-generation high school students with the funds needed to reach graduation, trained mentor ship and a global leadership curriculum to prepare them to be the future leaders of tomorrow.
