No Manolo Blahniks or Jimmy Choos at this event unless they came in the form of sneakers! It was strictly tennis shoes and tuxes at The National Building Museum for the 10th Anniversary of SneakerBall.
SneakerBall is the only black tie and sneakers gala that annually celebrates the best of sports in the Greater Washington, D.C. region. Proceeds from this year’s SneakerBall event will support the Sports Alliance Foundation’s new Incubator Program, an innovative model in the non-profit community intended impact to help grow organizations who will widen and deepen their social impact within the community.
It was a curious sight – one thousand guests and possibly as many sneakers – purple, hot pink, sequinced, triple lace – cheerleaders excluded.

and theme designed edibles.
but it was the After Party where you got to rub elbows with DC’s sporting elite.
