Chefs for Equality, a sold out event, was organized by David Hagedorn with local chefs, fashion icon Tim Gunn and Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley – an important evening at The Ritz Carlton.
Maryland made history this spring when the state legislature passed a bill making it possible for committed gay and lesbian couples to marry. Should this bill become law, it will be the 7th state plus DC that has ended the exclusion of same-sex couples from marriage.
