Guests at Ah Love Oil & Vinegar’s New Taste of Chocolate last Thursday night were certainly in for a chocolatey-treat that wasn’t just for desserts.
Using the shop’s own brands which include chocolate balsamic, lemon balsamic, bacon olive oil and habanero olive oil, there was everything from an orange salad made with the blood orange and
chocolate vinaigrette to bacon olive oil brownies which satisfied the salty and sweet cravings all at once.
Once you made your way around the shop to sample the chocolate pasta with dried flowers and the chocolate balsamic onion dip made with a little kick courtesy of the habanero olive oil, there was a tasting station with brand new olive oil Mothiana Ambrosia from Crete and a little balsamic bubbly made with the lemon balsamic.
Ah Love Oil and Vinegar has two locations: The Village in Shirlington and the new Mosaic Shopping Center in Merrifield.
