While waiters and guests were lining up at Cafe Milano in Georgetown for former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich’s surprise birthday party, bargain hunters were lining up at Harrods for their annual sale featuring Salvatore Ferragamo, Alexander McQueen and Vitoria Beckham. No word yet on how the sale went, but we hear that Gingrich had a blast!

In the days leading up to the sale Harrods, a special competition for customers ran – ‘Spot the Greenman’. The Green Man was seen dancing in the official sale teaser video busting his moves around London’s most iconic landmarks, and those who managed to spot him had a chance of winning a 1,000 pounds to spend in store.
