The Terminator.

The Terminator.

Direct. Candid. Upfront……..Anything and everything was on the table when Arnold Schwarzenegger sat down at the Hamilton LIVE for a discussion about his life and his new book, “Total Recall.”

Schwarzenegger terminated any thought that he was going to shy away from talking about the scandal that has plagued him in the past years, while still maintaining a charming, vibrant and humorous attitude the kept the crowd eating out of his hand.

Presented by the Washington Post and Politics & Prose, the talk was a showcase to hear about just what makes Schwarzenegger a unique person…Hollywood Action hero, Governor, bodybuilder, and now an author.

Arnold proved his prowess by showing he still knows his stuff when it comes to economics, energy policy and especially anything related to California; the state he governed. While many were itching to hear about his affairs that tore his marriage apart (which he did discuss)–he was easily more at ease sharing stories about his films, his experience as a Republican marrying into a Democratic dynasty and what it was like when he first came to America.

After the chat, Schwarzenegger signed copies of his book for fans who packed the downstairs theater of Penn Quarter’s The Hamilton, all looking for a glimpse of the once and future Terminator/Governator/Kindergarden Cop…however you want to remember him.

Here are some of the highlights from Arnold’s DC Stop:
