“On behalf of my family and ziMS, we were honored by the turnout and the awareness and support we’re bringing to the fight against MS! We raised more than $300,000!
Thanks to everyone who helped make A Night at the Park such a huge success and a special shoutout to Third Eye Blind for bringing down the house!” said Ryan Zimmerman who founded The ziMS Foundation in 2006 whose mom was diagnosed with MS in 1995.
The Washington Nationals’ third baseman broke the $1,000,000 mark by giving the University of Virginia, Department of Neurology $150,000. The Foundation is dedicated to the treatment and ultimate cure of MS by funding comprehensive support and educational programs.
