“Til the End”

“Til the End”

We’re as thick as thieves and we protect each other ’til the end.’  Come ON!  We know most people out there are well aware of that quote and from whence it came.  Confess to your guilty pleasure, Bravo’s The Real Housewives of NJ.

In a show where the…let’s call it ‘dramatic’ may rule…where there is in-fighting and chaos and some of the BEST big hair ever, Caroline Manzo stands out as the matriarch; the voice of reason and wisdom; the rock of the family…and the only red-head of the group.

The other night at the fabulous bastion of everything from lifestyle and home accessories to fashionable apparel C Wonder in Tysons Corner invited guests mobbed the store to catch a glimpse of NJ ‘Housewife’ Caroline Manzo, who made a special guest appearance to swap stories and sign her new book, Let Me Tell You Something, and Street-Smart Businesswoman

Just to illustrate how we know you’re all watching the show, copies of the book sold out in about 20 minutes flat.  We’re not sure if that’s a record-breaking performance, but if it’s not, it should be.

Let Me Tell You Something offers insights and lessons on how to create a happy and fulfilling life  In this personal and practical guide, Ms. Manzo reveals how she has achieved a life that many viewers envy—a close relationship with her children, a strong marriage, and a firm belief in loyalty to friends. She brings her life experience and pragmatic outlook to tough questions about family, friendship, love, and more.  True enough. . She has an over 28-year marriage to husband Albert, owner of the event facility The Brownstone, in Patterson, NJ; and is loving mother to Albert (“Albie”), Lauren, and Christopher. In person, she is soft-spoken, down-to-earth, affable and cordial to her fans; and totally realistic about her role as a star of a ‘reality’ TV show.

Although Ms. Manzo has been here before, she hasn’t had time to thoroughly enjoy the District—something she hopes to do in the future.  “I like DC—I’ve been here a million times, but never got a chance to relax and enjoy, she said.  “One of these days I want to come here and just hang, she says.

We want to ‘just hang’ with you too, Caroline.  We think we all could be as thick as thieves in no time.
