Social Secretaries (and cultural attaches) are so important to social life in Washington that Meridian International hosts an annual reception just to celebrate the dedication and contributions of these individuals whose tireless efforts are key to fostering cross-cultural understanding and cooperation. This years’ event was held at White-Meyer House where guests included The Honorable Carlos Elizondo, White House Social Secretary, along with other senior representatives from the U.S. Government and embassies.
