Oscar Picks!

Oscar Picks!

Hollywood on the Potomac was going to award the winner of our Oscar predictions contest with two round trip tickets to Paris or 10k tickets to the World Series of Poker, but in light of possible ethics violations, we’re not.  That said, we asked some of our favorite movie buffs to weigh in before the Academy Awards on Sunday night.

Just to have a little fun with it, we picked up some ‘shrink’ notes from a site called Pure Wow. “The 87th Academy Awards are this Sunday and eight incredible movies are up for Best Picture. Which one will take home the Oscar? Um, we have no idea. What we do know is what your favorite nominee says about you.”  So, let’s see what their Oscar pick for Best Picture says about them, according to Pure Wow of course.  Some weighed in with an extra category, but that won’t be counted in the results.
